The Role
We are seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to support the reliability, scalability, and performance of a growing platform.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining infrastructure, improving automation, and supporting production environments. The role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure best practices across deployment, monitoring, and system operations.
This position is suited to someone who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and is comfortable managing complex, high-availability systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Support platform stability through automation and operational best practices
- Build and maintain infrastructure and tooling to support development and deployment workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational processes
- Support production environments and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices and environment standardisation
- Integrate third-party tools and support connectivity with external systems
- Drive continuous improvement across operational processes
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles
- Strong experience with modern cloud environments
- Solid Linux systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with scripting (e.g. Python or similar)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience working with containers and/or virtualised environments
- Ability to operate and support scalable production systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Experience with large-scale or distributed systems
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling
- Experience working in regulated or complex environments
- Background in financial services or similarly complex domains
