The Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer to help enhance the quality, reliability, and performance of a sophisticated, multi-component platform.

The system supports complex workflows and includes a combination of user interfaces, backend services, and API integrations. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure features are thoroughly tested and released with confidence.

This role suits someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-evolving, technically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user workflows and define test scenarios
• Design and maintain test suites for new and existing features
• Execute manual testing during development and release cycles
• Contribute to the development of automated end-to-end and integration tests
• Prioritise testing efforts based on impact and timelines
• Maintain appropriate test coverage across different testing layers
• Document and communicate issues clearly and effectively
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis in production scenarios

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and structured approach to testing
• Ability to communicate clearly in written English
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in agile environments
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and follow-through
• Comfortable balancing speed and quality in a delivery-focused setting

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python and/or JavaScript
• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
• Experience testing APIs (REST or similar)
• Exposure to complex, high-throughput systems or regulated environments
• Background in financial services or similarly complex domains
